Spooktacular Autocross
October 31, 2015.
The Spooktacular Autocross was SPECTACULAR.
Thanks to all the 15 participants and the 10 TCC volunteers who made this a perfect day.
The weather started off a little cold and windy, but ended up being beautiful.
We had drivers from DCA, TVS, MAL, CCA and 3 from TCC, which included Morgen in her BMW.
The first course was extraordinarily fast 52:00 plus and then Bob McFarland changed it for second course and it slowed them quite a bit.
Had a quite few comments that they liked the track, and the layout; fewer cones were used. Also liked the donuts and the Eegee's sandwich and drink.
Thanks to the TCC volunteers: Nancy Olney, Bob McFarland, Brian Stamper, Victoria Victor, Morgen Forrest, Barry Scofield, David Victor, Don Collins, Richard Stevens and Brian Anderson for all their help.

TCC/SDC Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum Breakfast Run
January 15th, 2012.
Once again, Corvettes from both the Tucson Corvette Club and Sonoran Desert Corvettes headed out Speedway Blvd. through “Gate’s Pass” to the Arizona/Sonora Desert Museum for a cool morning run and Breakfast at the Museum. Once we arrived, we were directed to reserved parking in a secure area, and then the attendees were escorted to a private “Banquet Room” where we were treated to a delicious “Southwestern” style Breakfast Buffet.
After finishing our meal, many participants decided to tour the Desert Museum, one of real gems of the Tucson area.
Special thanks to Sophia Kaluzniacki & Hank & Margaret Savko for once again making sure this annual event was a real success.
As always, Thank You to the Staff of theArizona/Sonora Desert Museum for their wonderful service!
